Treasure Sleuth is an app that provides AI-assisted analysis to estimate antiques, vintage items, retro goods, collectibles, and similar objects based on images and text that the user captures, selects, or enters.

The app's analysis results are intended for informational and decision-support purposes only, and do not replace a formal appraisal, valuation, or the judgment of a professional.

2Information We Collect

2.1 Information you enter or submit

• Answers to assistive questions, input used for search and comparison, and descriptive text related to AI analysis that you enter in Treasure Sleuth
• Your name, email address, and other contact information provided when you contact us

2.2 Image and file information

• Images that you capture or select within the app for the identification, comparison, and analysis of objects
• Files that you upload

These images and files are used for AI analysis processing. Treasure Sleuth uses the camera permission (android.permission.CAMERA) to photograph the objects or items you choose and provide AI analysis features.

2.3 Information stored within the app

• Saved collections, analysis results, comparison history, and related link information
• User settings
• Information needed to determine billing status and usage limits

This information is primarily stored on your device.

2.4 Information collected automatically

• Device information, OS type, and app version
• Technical information about crashes and errors
• Communication logs necessary for operating the Service
• Technical information needed to verify subscription status and control billing

4Integration with External Services

We may use external AI service providers to deliver AI analysis features. In doing so, text you enter, images you capture or select, or related metadata may be transmitted to those services for analysis processing.

For example, Treasure Sleuth may use external services such as the OpenAI API for AI analysis features, and external services such as RevenueCat to verify billing status and manage subscriptions.

These transmissions are for the purpose of providing app functionality, and are not for the purpose of selling or providing data for advertising.

5Disclosure to Third Parties

Except as required by law, we do not sell or provide your personal information to third parties without your consent, except in the following cases:

• Sharing with contractors for AI analysis, cloud operations, billing management, email delivery, and similar, to the extent necessary to provide the Service
• When disclosure is required by law or by a request from a public authority
• When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person

6Storage Location and Retention Period

Some information is stored on your device, such as analysis results, settings, and saved collections.

Information may also pass through servers operated by us or by external service providers, to the extent necessary for AI analysis and provision of the Service.

We retain information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized using appropriate methods.

7Deletion by Users

In Treasure Sleuth, you may be able to delete saved collections and analysis results yourself. If you have a request regarding deletion, please contact us using the details below.

We implement reasonable and appropriate safeguards to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of the information we collect.

9Advertising, Accounts, and Billing

At present, Treasure Sleuth does not display in-app advertising.

Additionally, the app currently does not require mandatory user account registration. However, in connection with offering subscriptions, managing usage limits, or adding features in the future, we may integrate the minimum necessary billing-related or identifying information with external services.
